Ladies and gentlemen, Linda Gray, Larry Hagman, a cowboy hat, Patrick Duffy and the Theme from Dallas! "WOOOOOO!" Cut to polite, disinterested golf clapping. We have a divided audience, is what I'm saying.

JEAN DUJARDIN / George - "THE ARTIST" (The Weinstein Company)
BRAD PITT / Billy Beane - "MONEYBALL" (Columbia Pictures)

Big cheers for a weeping Clooney clip! A woo! for Pitt! But the Actor goes to Jean Dujardin! Something comes out of his mouth to the effect of "mygodmygodmygodmygodmygodmygod." "It is too much. I was a bad student. I did not pay attention. My teachers called me Jean de la Lune, Jean of the Moon. And I realize now that I never stopped dreaming." There's more, but it ends with, "Bon soirée, au revoir!" That was nice.

Jean Dujardin is adorbs. Now I'm even more excited to see The Artist this week!

I want to see the Women in Black so much too. And I hate scary movies.

I believe that the Artist might sweep the Oscars, considering everything that it keeps on winning. I'll wait to see who wins the big SAG tonight though.

Wow, Dujardin's speech sounds like a candidate for Best Acceptance Speech ever. :-) Good for him!

So, I read the Wikipedia summary for the book that The Woman In Black is based on, and I think that because it's Hollywood the movie will probably turn out different. Still... fascinating.

Dallas FTW! Man, do I love that show. And I got to meet Julie Parsons (Tina Louise) once.

It's probably "Jean dans la Lune" (in the Moon) instead of "de la Lune" (of the Moon).
To be 'in the Moon' is a French expression for daydreaming and not paying attention. :D
I've seen Jean in both OSS films and in "Cash", and he was terrific. I want to try and see "The Artist".
