Heeeee. The thing is, Meyer actually has the rough draft of the first chapter of Midnight Sun (Twilight basically rewritten from Edward's point of view, with 200% more snark, so I look forward to it like Christmas) on her site, and he actually talks about how, the first day he met Bella, he spent the whole afternoon imagining different ways he could sneak off with her and kill her. So technically, if anyone gives me shit about it, I can claim that my icon is totally sincere! and not snarking on the fact that Kristen Stewart looks like she's been knocked upside the head.
I personally enjoyed it, because it was Edward snarking on his family and then being like BELLA SWAN, HOW I MUST KILL THEE, LET ME COUNT THE WAYS for like ten pages. I'm actually really looking forward to the book because--he can read everyone's minds, right? And he can tell us what everyone's thinking. Whereas Bella pays attention to absolutely no one but Edward and herself, to the point where I'm not even sure she learns Jessica or Angela's names until halfway through the book.
Yeah - it does sound as if it could be interesting!

oh I feel very stupid - you've been using "sparkly motion" forever now and I thought it was just a very clever Harry Potter joke. Well, it could be doubly.
But these are excellent and thank you for pointing me to the link!
