Blarrrrrgh
twilight fever
cleolinda
Peoples of the internet, I am sick again. Fever, sore throat, fatigue, meh, etc. Also, a weird pounding in my left ear. Or, in visual form, like this:

This is why I have not been around much. I'm struggling to get some kind of work done at all, and if I can only do a little, I have to put novelly work and the three Year of Postcards sets I auctioned off first (yes, those will be going out. I'm sorry they're so late). The SAG Awards are on--Sunday? Something? They're usually only two hours, so I'm going liveblog those unless I'm absolutely on my deathbed. (The writing/research, by the way, has been going about as well as you could hope between comas.)

Speaking of the SAGs, you have heard about the Oscar nominations, yes? Also, a new Made of Fail podcast is out. Meanwhile, it has taken me an hour to put this entry together. I am going back to bed now.

Hope you feel better soon. And that spring hurries its ass up and gets here already.

Yerg, sickiness sucks. Be sure to get some rest and just drop a note and let us know you're not dead. Anything else is unnecessary and all. Don't wanna over exert yourself...

Oh god that icon. I laughed so damn hard XD Love that blog - icon win. (That was always one of my absolute favourites on her "better pain scale" XD)

Man, I do too. The first one I read was about the spiders and I almost peed myself laughing so hard.

Hahaha my first one was the pain scale one XD then I read the games-with-bricks post.

Then there was the Alot and the rest is history :D

LOL, yep that's how it usually goes!

YOU GUYS. I JUST READ ABOUT HOW SANDWICHES MAKE YOU THEIR BITCH IN 11 STEPS AND I AM CRYING. CRYING. MY NOSE MIGHT EVEN BE STARTING TO RUN, I AM LAUGHING SO HARD.

I am afraid my roommate thinks I've lost it, so I'll save the spiders and bricks for later when she's not in the room. Also, I already spend too much time on the internet. Augh, damn you both for introducing me to that blog! But actually, thanks.

Mwahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!

We have yet another convert!

My job here is done.

*cape swish*

Oh Cleo, I'm sorry. I hope you feel better soon.

Ugh, that sucks. I hope you recover quickly!

(Also, I was reading through your Midnight Sun recaps recently, and long story short-- I bought The Gift of Fear. I'm getting through it bit by bit and it's extremely enlightening. So thank you!)

Get well soon! I hope your comas are more like commas.

(Deleted comment)
Major suckage. I feel your pain; four colds in four months make E a cranky girl. Please take good care of yourself.

Also: OMG THAT PICTURE, WTF

I wish I had cats that calm. Especially like that giftwrapped one.

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon, Cleo!

Also, that gif. *snerk*

Yuck. I hope you feel up to fun shenanigans soon; it seems like you've been sick all winter.

You must feel better in the sooner rather than in the later. The later sucks. Just like the sickies. Go...enjoy a healing coma.

Feel better soon, Alabama girl! (My grandfather grew up in Buhminhayam.)

Feel better soon! Here, something to cheer you up, in case you've never seen this website (but since you own an iPhone, you probably have):

http://damnyouautocorrect.com/2277/the-10-most-popular-dyacs-from-october-2010/

I hope you feel better soon.

(And in the video, what an awesome cat that is for a house containing a toddler.)

Get better. Screw the SAG awards (you know I'm serious about the "get batter" if I'm willing for forego an award show live-blog/recap from you)..

Meanwhile....better living through chemistry.

And soup. My husband only NOW believes in the mysterious powers of chicken soup after seeing that stupid "The Doctors" show that Dr. Phil's son is producing.....they had a large line-up of cold medications on a table, and one of them ("The only one that looked worth a damn" he said....yet he kept watching !?!) said, "The one thing I would recommend above all others is this" - and he produced a bowl of soup.

My favorite is chicken and rice. Because there is nothing better.

Although ginger ale is a very close second....

TV/Internet recommendation

Since you will be working the award show tonight rather than watching PBS, I thought I would pass on this - it appears you could watch this whole thing in the internetsssss - but in case this is an issue - late Edwardian clothing:
