Two things:

(Yes, from David Lynch's Twitter)
(more from the TCA panel)

Does what it says on the tin:
(Please see https://storify.com/cleolinda for all available Hannibal S3 spoilers/set pics that I am aware of)
(lotta things happened. Filming in Florence and Mason got recast)

Maybe more things:

I am also working on a State of the Cleo entry that will explain why it has been so hard to write a State of the Cleo entry (short version: medication adjustments are fun!). But I thought y'all ought to know.

hahaha, i'm so/so on armitage and also got all my kyle twin peaks squeeing out of the way!

Heh. I'm just watching the shrieks roll in on Tumblr; they are giving me life.

Eva Green can read the phonebook and I'd be there to listen. OMG that voice. <3

Near the end of the trailer, [Spoiler (click to open)]do you think it means that Narcissa is Penny Dreadful's version of Countess Julie Delpy?

Also on the subject of Eva Green and creepy projects, have you heard about Tim Burton's latest film, have you heard about Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children? It sounds awesome and right up her alley as well.

Good to hear from you, as always!

Hey, don't forget back in pre-season2 when people fancasted Lee Pace as Mason Verger, Cleo basically said in an AMOT podcast that if that came true, the audience would be in for a world of Hurt (especially seeing that LP's previous Fullerverse character was basically The Sweetest Man Ever)? And of course we'd have Thranduil nightmares then.

Assuming that you'd seen the first full-length trailer, [Spoiler (click to open)]do you think the part where Helen McCroy bathes in a tub of blood means that she'd be Penny Dreadful's version of that Julie Delpy countess?

Gosh, that's a damn fine cup of coffee.

So that's what I hear all the way here in Tennessee! I was wondering...

And Thorin as Dolarhyde has my fangirl engines revving like whoa!!

Richard Armitage being on Hannibal might send me over the edge of bliss. Creeped out bliss, but bliss nonetheless.

I go more the for alto-tuned squeeeeing, myself

My fandoms unexpectedly collided. (Well, movieverse!Tolkien isn't really my fandom, the books are, but still. Movies totally count.) I already made an obligatory joke about "dragon sickness" (and everyone else already made an obligatory joke about the Smaug tattoo), now I just need to brace myself for all the impending crossovers. Who knows - some of them might even be good...

Also very belated congratulations and well-wishes regarding Christmas, New Year and your birthday. Have three links, one of which you probably have seen already.

http://strangehorizons.com/2014/20140317/valentine-c.shtml - that's the one you might have seen, but just in case you didn't... (And as someone who's sick of people trying to put Will and Clarice against each other, I'm glad she doesn't do it in her article.)

http://teleport-city.com/2014/10/06/vampyr/ - this one you probably didn't. Some talk about vampire movies and literature, your old friend Varney gets mentioned.

http://teleport-city.com/2014/04/22/knot-guilty/ - nothing you didn't know, I suppose. Just for the collection.

And the next quote (from the year 2005) was foung on an archived talk page for Wikipedia article on Wendigo. "This article fails to discuss the Wendigo in Psychiatry".

Feel better!

Francis Dolarhyde and Thorin Oakenshield both having "dragon sickness" is simply a whole new level of Fandom Crossover Win. ^_^

I love that my twitter feed today has been nothing but screaming and crying about all of these things plus more capslock at Agent Carter. This is the song of my people! Praise be the cannibal gods!

And now to brace myself because s3 is going to hurt SO MUCH. And hurt SO GOOD.

Also it would hurt because apparently we're not gonna get it until the summer...?!

Apparently the shift to the summer won't affect its renewal chances, so here's hoping it's only the wait that'll slowly kill us.

And, to quote Cleo on AMOT#30: "You're not gonna know (who survived the Bloodbath) until Episode Two! And I was just, 'You're all TERRIBLE!!!'"

I hope Bryan Fuller's enjoying his tear martinis right now.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *glomps Cleo with terminal velocity*

So awesome to have you back, Cleo! Sorry for being a week late to response, but my email alert system seemed to be wonkier than usual. P

Hurray for moar Penny Dreadful, and so for R.A. joining the Cannifamily! Although, what are your thoughts on that other guy replacing Michael Pitt as Mason Verger? At first I consoled myself that every white dude would look the same behind the Uncanny Valley Ken mask (and under a tumblr Pineapple hairdo), but then I thought about M.P.'s distinctive nasal voice. :( And have you seen NBC's Hannibal Season 2 Wrap-Up Reel (containing bloopers)? Michael Pitt was perhaps the only actor besides Mads who would flub a line but still stay in character.

Also, if I may ask, how are things going in the MoF front? Will there be a new episode in the near future? I don't mind if it takes a while, so long as you'd tell us the estimated dates.

(also, the person above me — not sea_of_tethys — appears to be a spambot.)

(Don't respond to this, so that when the spam goes away, I could delete this as well.)
