All right: I need your help. It's poll time.
The choices have been culled from that May 21 entry where I asked for big-movies-from-the-last-fifteen-years suggestions. I have narrowed it down rather whimsically to 25, and I want to get the final list down to ten.
These are by no means the only movies I will do in the future; actually, I have a lot of smaller (or not-so-small) movies I want to do. Let me assure you: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is the next one in the queue, with Underworld soon after (here’s hoping I can get them both done before Spider-Man 2 hits theaters). (I just hope I live long enough to do all of these, y’all. I’ll be eighty years old and still patiently pecking away on “Gigli in Fifteen Minutes,” I swear.) Pirates of the Caribbean is a looong shot to get in there, because—dammit, it all but parodies itself. For the same reason, comedies and Showgirls are out.
What I’m trying to do is get—well, think of it as an all-star blockbuster/Best Picture-type roster. So: check off the ones you want to see the most. Let’s say, choose ten (or fewer)—it’s not the most scientific thing in the world, so I don’t really care how many. I'm just trying to gauge general interest here.
(And those of you who know or have figured out the ultimate purpose of this list are kindly requested to shut it, plzkthnx. Don’t spoil the fun!)
Which movie(s) would you like to see on "Movies in Fifteen Minutes"? (Check off up to ten choices.)
