Speaking of Dracula yesterday as a multimedia experience: misslucyjane has pointed me to dracula1897. It's posted by the individual characters! With appropriate icons! In real time! Since MAY! This is made of awesome and win.

(Reader survey. Favorite characters: 1) Mina. 2) Berserker the wolf. Heeeee.)

There are bad things you can read about at CNN. Amish shooter (or rather, the Shooter of Amish) claiming he molested people when he was twelve and generally being horrible, Mark Foley claiming he was molested (not by the Shooter of Amish), and so on. I had some discussion of both of those stories written out but, quite frankly, I don't want to dwell on it.

'Lost' Fans to Finally Find Some Answers. Warning: spoiler-speculation for season three.

wmetoile has a new gig: the Trailer Stash column at premiere.com. Congratulations!

Four caught in web for "Spiderwick."

Splendiferous interview with Kate Winslet.

The wit and wisdom of George Clooney, including which actors he has crushes on, professional or otherwise.

Correction for list of movie stills from a couple of days ago: Matt Damon is not in The Good German. He is in The Good Shepherd. I've already confused my uncle hopelessly as to which one is which (he wanted to see The Good Shepherd), so I might as well confuse the rest of the internets.

Haven't decided what I want to post as my Gothic lit link o' the day yet; more on that later. And yes, I know it's Lostnesday. I'll try to remember to do a discussion entry tonight (the one time I postdated an entry earlier in the day failed miserably, so it really is a matter of remembering to do it at the right time). I don't know about recapping. We'll see.

All dialogue is approximate, as I took notes longhand.

I'm not really seeing two cities hereCollapse )

ETA: Eeek, I hit "post" by accident and it went through before I had a chance to proof it. So, uh, I'll be going through and taking out half the occurrences of "totally" now, thnx.

ETA 2: Okay, proofed. Hit refresh.
