Golden Globes #3
yahoo oscars aqua
Please welcome! People from Crazy Stupid Love! Kevin Spacey and... what... is Julianne Moore wearing. It's... like... red, with... this one ballooning sleeve that... is... eating her.

Best Miniseries or Made-for-TV Movie
The Pacific
The Pillars of the Earth
Temple Grandin
You Don’t Know Jack

Winner: Carlos. Man, there was a TV movie about strife in 12-century England? Where was I for this? I mean, not that I wouldn't also like to see a movie about Carlos the Jackal, but you know me. Guys, this guy can't speak English very well, please don't play him off yet. I SAID STOP THAT!

They have a hard time herding everyone offstage. I don't know. Gervais: "Like Pac-Man."

Please welcome! The star of Hudson Hawk, Hart's War, The Fifth Element (hey! People actually like that one!), The Color of Night, "Ashton Kutcher's dad, Bruce Willis!" He is here to introduce a clip from RED, which I am pretty sure all of us promptly forgot existed the moment it came out. Ah, Golden Globes.

Please welcome! Some guy! Garrett Hedlund? My short term memory is gone! Even though they said his name two seconds ago! Seriously, I might want to see a doctor about this! And Leighton Meester!

Best Supporting Actor in TV Series, Mini-Series, or Made-for-TV Movie
Scott Caan, Hawaii Five-0
Chris Colfer, Glee
Chris Noth, The Good Wife
David Strathairn, Temple Grandin
Eric Stonestreet, Modern Family

Huge scream as Chris Colfer wins. He looks like he might pass out. "I think I just dropped my heart between Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, so if anyone sees it..." Lea Michele is out at the Glee table dabbing ostentatiously at her tears and gasping. I'm just telling you. Colfer dedicates the award to all the kids who watch Glee and have to take shit at school: "Screw that, kids!" Aw.

Commercials; mingling; short-term memory panic typing.

Chris Colfer you are the most adorable ALWAYS.

I believe The Pillars of the Earth is based on a book. Don't take my word for it,though.

Wasn't Garrett Hedlund was Brad Pitt's cousin (totally cousin!) in Troy? I know he was in it, can't remember who he was.

Not only was he Brad Pitt's cousin (totally cousin) but every article about him right now (because of Tron and whatsitcalled) mentions his first role was Patrocles, Brad Pitt's cousin, in Troy.

I'm beginning to wonder if they're just jerking us around now.

Yeah, Lea Michele, get over yourself. Jane Lynch looked sincerely proud, though.

Did she just say "Underland"?

Chris Colfer was kind of adorable! He seriously looked so surprised he won and yet handled himself with such awesomeness.

Whoa, Gervais is going for broke tonight. And to think that last time I saw him host something, he bored me silly!

I was sad to hear that her name is not pronounced Leeeton, so I can't call her Leeeton Meeester anymore.

And, yay Chris Colfer! He is wonderful.

I can't stand Lea Michele. um...Just putting that out there. xD

And...the ballooning sleeve thing...I...I don't get it.

I said exactly the same thing about Pillars of the Earth. I totally put that shit on my netflix queue RIGHT THEN.

Temple Grandin was brilliant. I hoped it would win. Worth seeing.

Is it just me or is Ricky Gervais burning bridges left and right, and it's MESMERIZING?

Edit: Chris Colfer is adorable and I don't even like Glee that much.

It's not just you. It is brilliant!

. . . oh, shoot. Well, Hugh's cuter.

I hate Glee, but I love Chris Colfer. He and Mike O'Malley are the best parts of that show. Good for him.

I don't hate Glee, but I have to not think about it a fair amount of the time. But, yes, Chris Colfer and Mike O'Malley make that show.

Aw, Steve Buscemi! I've loved him since I first saw him in Reservoir Dogs.

Chris Colfer... A whole lot of awesome for winning. ^_^
