So the link to the The Hunger Games poster is an email link?

Well, I wasn't lying when I said I was sleepy. (Fixed.)

The link for the Hunger Games poster is just an email address. Did something get borked?

Meet a darker Peter Parker

oooh your puppy is better!! that's exciting.... the movie news.... not so much

So glad your dog seems to be right again.

the potter "what was cut..." wasn't new, but thanks
(didn't missed the "why do you live" line as the fandom took it and ruined the sentiment behind it- making it all about romance... blugh.

also is it me, or the director seems to be avoiding talking about why there was no better reunion scene when harry defeated voldemort nor why harry didn't fixed his wand at all?
(I hope those are in this so call deleted scene list)

the "under the banner of Heaven" movie thing (which i just googled as i never heard of the book and ut sounded good)

and then it wasn't. and it has me quite nervous... and i'm not even mormon. but it has that whole irkling of "religious people are bad, bad, delusional And Dangerous" feeling to it

i kind of hope that's not the case.

tinker,tailor, soldier spy looks awesome

so does "In time"

and that hunger games poster looks badass.

(here hoping for new movie pictures soon)

can't see a thing of the spiderman trailer though

things are back to normal, more or less, right?

Re: oooh your puppy is better!! that's exciting.... the movie news.... not so much

If Under the Banner of Heaven is anything like the book, it will be more down the lines of "these particular religious extremists are bad, bad, delusional, and dangerous." The sticky part tends to be that many people have read the book and come away believing that they're experts on LSD theology and history, which is... not the case. (I'm neither, myself, but I've done a lot of research on some of the topics Kraukauer covers in his book.) It will almost definitely bring out people who feel strongly one way or the other.

you might be considered a twilight blogger by the media

but at least you're a smart, well rounded, intelligent one.

not a feral "EDWARD! JACOB! VAMPIRE! ABS!" one

that's an important difference, right?

Please, with all the publicity you give them, Tonner should be offering you dolls.

I dream of a day when you can get the entire series of Gargoyles on DVD and Blu-ray and there's a blockbuster series of films based on it--but you can't even find a copy of Cars 2 in the bargain bin.

That Captain Planet announcement makes me very... something, for a number of reasons. And that something is not a good something.

The Gargoyles announcement... I mean, what? Why even tease? Where must I go (besides Shinga's fanart) to find Bronx and Brooklyn? This saddens me.

I definitely want to see Brooklyn kicking ass on the big screen. Though, if they did live-action I have no idea how you'd find a better Xanatos than Jonathan Frakes. (I'm assuming the Gargoyles themselves would keep their original voices)

Still, I'd rather them at least try and do a movie based on Gargoyles and have it fail than not try at all.

Oh dear, they definitely know about Secret Life of Dolls then :P

I have never heard of the term motion poster before this - is this the first "official" motion poster? It looks cool :) I'm not terribly excited with movie selections these days, but I'll keep an eye out for The Hunger Games just to see how well they could adapt the book.

MOTION poster? OMG this world is actually becoming Harry Potter.

I am just fine with this trend, thank you.

Oooh I've actually heard of Red Star. It's a beautiful book, I'm sort of curious and leery of what WB is going to do it.

The Red Star: And by "fight" we mean "are shoveled into the furnaces to power the defense of Russia."

The Motherland's greatest resource has always been her people... and the willingness of their leaders to solve problems by throwing more bodies at it. :/

I think my reaction to the Captain Planet movie was along the lines of "wat."

I just picked up UtBoH a couple of days ago to re-read it for the first time in about a decade. I am both interested in and concerned about the adaptation, because hoo boy could that get controversial. Ten bucks says both Romney and Huntsman are hoping it comes out after the presidential election.
